McKeans of Scotland - A brief overview

Based on the outskirts of Glasgow in the heartland of Scotland,  McKean's  have been manufacturing Haggis - Scotland's traditional
food -  since 1860.  Having recently joined forces with another long established Scottish meat emporium to form McLay Wallace Limited,  the McKean brand continues unabated and with renewed vigour.

With more than  40 committed and dedicated employees, McLay Wallace use only the finest  wholesome  ingredients to create
"The McKean Family of Haggis"™ , combining traditional home - grown Scottish oats and barley with the finest of delicate meats.

Spurred on by our "on-line" success we are delighted to announce the completion of our new state-of-the-art cook, chill and
packing facility at our operation in Balmore - specifically designed to keep up with the growing demand for our Scottish Puddings.

Use the Haggis Website  to find out more about us and the products we make. Order on-line or make contact - it's all here. We even have a page devoted to our national bard  Robert Burns whose praise for our product in his  "Address to a Haggis " is recited at the start of Burns' Suppers the world over. We hope you enjoy the experience.
